Diligently cultivating in January...


Greetings, fellow Daoists,

I apologize for the lack of updates. Real life has been hectic for me, with my grandmother passing away, my busy job, part-time gigs, computer science course, and family responsibilities, there hasn't been much free time to work on the game. 

In my defense, I have not publicize the game yet. I did not expect this very niche game to become somewhat popular even in this very early and unfinished stage. It was made for fun, by a hobbyist game dev with a cheap and dying laptop. At some point, it even got 590 browser plays in a day and someone supported me in ko-fi for the first time, added with more kind words. I don't even know how did that even happen :)

Well anyway, some of you have already noticed, as of mid-December, I've been working on the game once again. I have no ETA for this update, as I'm essentially rewriting the entire code base to make it less messy and easier to work with in the future. But I routinely working on the game whenever I can.


That being said, the upcoming update should be kind of okay for my newbie standards. Especially, with more game mechanics put into the game as I have learned more about programming. Don't get me wrong, my JavaScript is still lacking and amateurish (just like the game), but compared to the first release of the game, in which I knew nothing about programming, game development or even web development, this iteration should at least be, slightly, decent.

Ish.

Bro, continue with proyect pls

sorry for your loss and thankyou for this wonderful game(even if it's just the start), my pc is very laggy so i can't run bassically any game, my favorite genre is xianxia and this is the only game it can run ;)
